How to Uninstall IE8 Beta in Windows XP

Microsoft’s new OS Windows 7 is packed with Internet Explorer 8 beta, which the blogosphere reviewed it, criticized it and tagged it as another crap from Microsoft. Many people liked new added features with its Windows XP compatible versions and updated their existing IE to IE8.
But now if you want to uninstall IE8 Beta and want to roll back to your previous version then simply follow these steps:
- Go to Run from START menu.
- Type Appwiz.cpl there or you can also avoid this step and simply go to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.
- They at the top you have to check the radio button ‘Show Updates‘.
- Now navigate the list and select Windows Internet Explorer 8 and click Remove.
- Finish the un-installation process by rebooting the system.
Your previous internet exloper will be restore. If you are still not able to uninstall then go to Microsoft’s Help Center for alternate ways to uninstall IE8.

Firefox-powered browsers are quite common and I have even reviewed a few them in the past, Flock, Orca etc. but you don’t see browsers based on Nokia Qt framework often.
QtWeb is one such web browser, that is compact, portable and secure, and uses Apple’s WebKit rendering engine. In case you didn’t know, Apple’s very own Safari and Chrome also use WebKit to render websites.
One of the first things I check after installing a new web browser is its memory usage. And surprisingly, QtWeb only used 20-25 MB with one tab opened.

QtWeb has all the features that you can expect from a web browser, plus some unique user interface and privacy features. You can also move inside the browser window or undock and place your Navigation and Bookmarks Bar on your desktop.
For privacy issues, you can turn on Private Browsing mode to avoid leaving traces of browsing. It even masks your UserAgent which is being sent to the web server.
In short, QtWeb is a great browser with very low resource usage, small in size and is portable so that you can carry it around in your USB drive.
